DOT no/clover is a mixture of 45% Creeping Red Fescue, 45% Perennial Ryegrass, and 10% Highland Colonial Bentgrass.

DOT no/clover is designed specifically to provide a quick establishing, perennial erosion control ground cover.  DOT no/clover was developed by the WA DOT to provide a low maintenance alternative to standard lawn seed mixes.  It can be used on any site that requires erosion control.

SUGGESTED USES

DOT no/clover is ideal for use on slopes, road medians, open spaces, fields, or any

erosion situation where rapid establishment, low maintenance and quick cover are

primary concerns.

DOT no/clover is produced in and specifically formulated for the Pacific Northwest and its unique conditions. DOT no/clover  is ideally suited for erosion sites that require a seed mix with no clover.  Not suitable for extremely wet sites.

Planting Rates:

New Seeding …………………………………… 150-200 lbs./acre

Overseeding ……………………………………..100-150  lbs./acre

DOT no/clover will germinate in 7-14 days depending on soil temperature and moisture. For best results, DOT no/clover should be planted 1/8” – 1/4” deep. Frequent, light irrigation or rainfall is needed for best germination. Lime soil & apply starter fertilizer prior to seeding.

DOT no/clover has low fertility requirements. Mow at end of growing season.
