Temporary Erosion is a mixture of 70% Annual Ryegrass, 25% Creeping Red Fescue, and 5% White Dutch Clover.

Temporary Erosion is designed specifically to provide a quick establishing erosion control ground cover.  Temporary Erosion was developed to provide a low cost   alternative to standard erosion seed mixes.  It can be used on any site that requires temporary erosion control.

Temporary Erosion is ideal for use on slopes, road medians, open spaces, fields, or any erosion situation where rapid establishment, low maintenance and quick cover are

primary concerns.

Temporary Erosion is produced in and specifically formulated for the Pacific Northwest and its unique conditions. Temporary Erosion  is ideally suited for erosion sites that require a short term cover.  Not suitable for extremely wet sites.

Planting Rates:

New Seeding …………………………………… 150-200 lbs./acre

Overseeding ……………………………………..100-150  lbs./acre

Temporary Erosion will germinate in 5-12 days depending on soil temperature and moisture. For best results, Temporary Erosion should be planted 1/8” – 1/4” deep. Frequent, light irrigation or rainfall is needed for best germination. Lime soil & apply starter fertilizer prior to seeding.

Temporary Erosion has low fertility requirements. Mow at end of growing season.
