Timber Mix is a mixture of 30% Orchardgrass, 30% Timothy, 15% Mountain Brome, 10% Tall Fescue, 5% Alsike Clover, 5% White Clover, and 5% Annual Ryegrass.

Timber Mix is designed specifically to provide ground cover and soil stabilization in areas that require a special mix to thrive in higher elevation conditions.  Timber Mix will also provide grazing and cover for livestock and wildlife.  It can be used on any site that requires erosion control.

Timber Mix is ideal for use on slopes, open spaces, right-of-ways, forests, fields, or any erosion situation where rapid establishment, low maintenance, quick cover, and higher elevation adaptability are primary concerns.

Timber Mix is produced in and specifically formulated for the Pacific Northwest and its unique conditions. Timber Mix  is ideally suited for erosion sites that require a seed mix that will provide both cover and forage.  Not suitable for extremely wet sites.

Planting Rates:

New Seeding …………………………………… 250 lbs./acre

Overseeding ……………………………………. 200  lbs./acre

Timber Mix will germinate in 7-14 days depending on soil temperature and moisture. For best results, Timber Mix should be planted 1/8” – 1/4” deep. Frequent, light irrigation or rainfall is needed for best germination. Lime soil & apply starter fertilizer prior to seeding.

Timber Mix has low fertility requirements. Can be mowed at end of season.
