Wetland mix is a blend of 35% Creeping Red Fescue, 35% Redtop, and 30% Meadow Foxtail.

Wetland mix is designed specifically to provide a quick establishing, perennial erosion control ground cover in areas that are frequently under water or have saturated soils such as ponds, stream banks and wetlands. Wetland mix will help control soil erosion while providing habitat for wildlife.

Wetland mix is ideal for use around ponds, stream banks, marshes, lakes, or any situation where conditions require an erosion control seed mixture that will tolerate wet, saturated soils.

Wetland mix is produced in and specifically formulated for the Pacific Northwest and its unique conditions. Wetland mix  is ideally suited for any site where conditions are constantly wet.  Not suitable for short turf or high traffic areas.

Planting Rates:

New Seeding …………………………………… 150-200 lbs./acre

Overseeding ……………………………………..100-150  lbs./acre

Wetland mix will germinate in 7-14 days depending on soil temperature and moisture. For best results, Wetland should be planted 1/8” – 1/4” deep. Frequent, light irrigation or rainfall is needed for best germination. Lime soil & apply starter fertilizer prior to seeding.

Wetland mix has low fertility requirements.  Can be mowed if needed.
